Q. When is a Vase not a Vase (or a tree)?

I have been playing with the stencils of 3D greek vases from Some assembly Required again.
This time I used the
Vase Number 4, but once again  did not look at it as a vase.
You can also see the vase 1 blog entry  HERE and HERE and HERE

A. When it is a Toad stool.
I turned the vase 4 upside down and cut the base off and added red to the top part and then i used copic white paint to add the dots

Q. When is a Vase not a Vase?

Yesterday I showed the newest release from Some Assembly Required , They are 3D vases (5 in total). Today I am here to show that you can look at that vase I used yesterday (vase 1) and remove the handles and turn it upside down to make a TREE.
A. when it is a tree.
I again used the cuttlebug on the green part only this time.

I am off to make some more things using these.

3D Greek Vase sliceform from Some Assembly Required

Over the many years of doing papercrafts, one thing that I love is sliceforms and one company that I love now and always have is Some Assembly Required (SAR). They have a huge variety of  3D shapes , one of my first ever purchases was there egg shape and I used to have soo much fun making that simple egg shape into animals , which even inspired a book of egganimals
Well now there latest creations are 3D Greek Vases (5 in total) , they are soo much fun as you will see in the days and weeks to come . Today I took there vase 01 and made this vase cutting vase out and then running through the cuttlebug to give it texture , BUT then to make it really pop I then got a sepia inkpad and wiped it over the top of the embossed area , then i put the vase together.

I am off to make some more things using these.

I get inspired everywhere I go (even hospitals)

I get inspired everywhere I go (even hospitals)
In January this year Neal had to go have test  at the hospital near the city
and in the court yard eating area this sculpture was there and straight away
I thought of the Some Assembly Required doves

Then in February I got a little distracted and did not get around to
making it , but this week i got out my Dove and cut and made
up 12 Doves . And here is the result of my take on this.

Cut a shaped box and turned it upside down to make the
base

PART Nine "This house is not Haunted" COMPLETE HOUSE

I have FINISHED the house I am soo happy with
how it turned out (going to find it hard to part with it)
What i did was did some pen work on the roof to make
tiles, added some stick on crystals around the
roof to look like lights.
I then glued the house to the matt board

Used the cotton wool on the deers

Added a "some assembly required snow man "
to the yard

Hope Santa is not stuck there for too long

OH hang on..............................What is that
I see there ??

There in the big window (OH it is a BLUEROBOT )
Did i put that there?

And that comes to the end of this adventure
in turning the Haunted house from "happy haunting"
cart into an non haunted house.

Outside looking in

Hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas
I sure did. This little box was made using precut
window cards. Using punches to cut out the MERRY
CHRISTMAS lettering that is on the wall at back of box
and "some assembly required" Christmas tree dies
Added glitter on the window and wrapped a few blocks
of foam to look like presents at the base of the tree

Rabbit Egg-imal "NEW some assembly required book"

I am so happy "Some Assembly Required" have
brought out a book with dies featuring lots of my
EGGIMALS Volume 1.
(as well as some of Sandy's EGGIMALS)
Today I will introduce you to the Rabbit.
(there is no cd in the book I used it as a prop to take the photo)
I used cuttlebug to cut the dies but they work in
all of the die cutting machines

The Rabbit can be sitting like my rabbit or standing like
in the photo in the book depends on where you glue the
legs. and book comes with pockets in (right side of picture)
to store the dies.
****NOTE****
(there is no cd in the book I used it as a prop to take the photo)
P.S. In the book I am the Susan Uncle (my real name LOL)

What came first "the MONKEY or the EGG or the BOOK

Well in this case the answer is
The Egg came first , followed shortly after
by the Monkey and then NOW comes the BOOK
I am so happy "Some Assembly Required" have
brought out a book with dies featuring lots of my
EGGIMALS Volume 1.
(as well as some of Sandy's EGGIMALS)

The book comes with the dies to make the egg
as well as the dies to make the 9 eggimals
and most of them have instructions for making
them standing or sitting (that makes even more
Eggimals)

Thought I would start with the Monkey this monkey
sits in the tree from alota rubber stamps

The monkey sits 3Ded out from the card

But folds flat for posting

In picture you will notice the picture in the book
this is my calender from many years ago and as it was
September being the 9th month i put 9 monkeys on
the page (as i did on each month put the amount on
that the month was)
There is a pocket in each eggimal page though out the
book to store the dies

here is the two monkeys one standing and using the
instructions you can make it a sitting monkey

P.S. In the book I am the Susan Uncle (my real name LOL)
