The West Coast

OK yes I went quiet but that was

because we went over to the west coast (Tasmania)

for a holiday and  had a fantastic time

 We chased a train

 Went to the ocean

 Seen three light houses (was not inspecting that )

 Morning tea of scones for a break from the rain

 To the museum

As well as I got to see a Platpus in the wild 

(Could not get photo of that ).

We had a great time and the weather was nice most days.

Was even nice on out trip home so we were able to come

home over the tops of the mountains which was amazing.

Today brings us to the page 9 last page of the 

pop up book. This one is  done with the bear out 

of scrap factory.

I really have enjoyed how the  force scores then cuts 

it makes things go heaps easier.

PLUS

Here was were I was going to show  my book binded

BUT

I thought oh i have binded soo many books so far I 

know how i did it 

With having not made a book and binded it for a year now

My finished result was  like my first ever book i made

EKKSSS . So I should have looked at my 

PCS038 video How I bind my pop up books.

SO I now have this book with half the binding on

and with the spine of it cut off so when i fix it 

SOMEHOW?

I will show it at a later date 

(think i will go off now and finish crying )

KNK FORCE 016 day 6 of the pop up book PLUS

Had a question about the layers of this card so 

here I will show something .

I designed the giraffe  using basic shapes .

HERE GOES a little about it 

when the tan colour was cut I then 

folded and glued back to back the pieces 

leaving ONE INCH at the bottom of them 

not glued.

 then thinking that the tan was too much i 

was going to cut the layer of green to cover it 

BUT thought then i would have a 1mm rim 

of tan (cause i did an inset shadow of 1mm)

so I got a black marker and coloured all around the 

tan card that was going to be in the folded card.

 Layered all the pieces on front and back

 Cut the folded card and added the pop up in 

 Then cut the green layer with the 1mm inset

shadow in  and it gave the card a nice black frame that

I had made with the marker

 and a more finished look
