Lots of towels i have embroided this year

This year was an easy year for me to 

know what we would give everyone this year 

as I have my new embroidery machine and 

towels were a great thing to do.

I have done these towels 

with many diferent names on them 

but i will just show the one set so i don't

bore you all .

These ones are for my son's girlfriend

 First was a bath towel

 Then a hand towel

 I put a little present in the hand towel and rolled it 

up like a Christmas cracker

Missing being with Family at christmas (specially MARTYN)

Our son came over to visit us in September as he 

works over the busy season of Christmas , but it

We miss him today first Christmas in 22 years 

not spending it with him

Here is what I made for him and sent to him 

so he did not miss out on presents this morning

HE loves a card game called magic the gathering and 

I know he will love these

 Then I made and embroidered this bag for him.

Beach Towel for them both

Here is a pair of beach towels that i embroidered 

for my friend Tracey and her Daughter for 

Christmas . (they love butterflies , OH and 

PURPLE and as i could not get purple towels 

I did there names in purple)

FOR there tree

Also made my friends a little something each to hang

on there tree each year so they would not forget me 

(I know they are reading this and saying they could never :-) )

Sewn on the embroidery machine and it has hole in to put the 

lollypops in

This time of year is when I miss my old house (well not the house )

when my friends are all going out for christmas lunch celebrations 

and I am over here and can only be there in thought (well I did 

surprise them with a phone call at lunchtime )

I did however also leave some presents  with one of the ladies to 

hand out from me.

Here is the first one each for them. Sewed them on the 

embroidery machine.

OUR FRONT DOOR

When we moved in here in Late February of this year.

The first thing we were going to do was  put something 

on the glass in the front door of our house as it was clear 

glass and it was too see through.

Well now it is December and after all this time of having a piece

of paper stuck on the window. I have finally got around 

to etching the glass. Yesterday i cut out the vinyl robots and 

stuck them on the window 

and today i etched it. It took three goes with the etching cream 

as it was very heavy glass but the result is soo good.

ROBOT on TOP of the TREE??

Time of the year to put the Christmas tree up .

Any one can have an Angel on top of there 

Tree. ours has a BLUEROBOT. 

 (Note to Tracey look at this robot hanging on 

the tree!)

Neal had brought me this tree decoration 

about 5 years ago  

A few days ago a present arrived for me in the mail 

it was this this robot .

(same brand same robot  )

TO move house you PACK BOXES and then UNPACK BOXES (xmas cards)

With all the boxes this year i have packed and unpacked

and MOST not unpacked  (due to us moving house)

Soon as I seen this style card I knew it would 

be suitable for my christmas card this year .

Before and after (still needs more painting though )

Many years this  balloon hung in our bedroom of our old 

house . And it was brought here and was never going to 

be hung in our bedroom here but out on show .

We decided that it was a bit dark and sad looking so 

I am working on making it look happy.

(I Still have heaps of painting to do on it  to neaten it up 

but at the moment it is hanging in the entrance drying )

 Also used plastic canvas and wool to 

make a new basket (less heavy looking for 

it too )

 After I finish the paint work on it  and neaten it up 

I will make it shiny 

Think I also might have to make a smaller bluerobot to put 

in it  OR maybe even two.

I will show you all this again  later in the week or two when it 

is finsihed 

I wanted to show you one of the things i have been working on 

of lately.
