SNOW globes (flashing lights)

I brought some cheap christmas decorations that
had flashing lights, pulled them apart to get the
light out and made my own snowglobes
using cricut and gypsy to design the globe .
Putting the snowflakes around the edge give a
good glow when the light is on

These lights flash different colours

Here is a short video of them in the dark turned on

Paper Art(ting) in 2011 (3D BOOK CARD)

Could not wait for today to be able to start
showing some more things that I have been making.
I love making this "3D book cards" .
This one I made for my friend Tracey.
Who has just started playing with a cricut this
year.
Used hello kitty font cart for lettering
What i did in the inside cover is I went to her
blog HERE and copied things that she had
been making with her cricut and made them
mini version
And used everyday cricut cart to cut the tools of her
paper art in 2011

I can show it today cause I am mostlikely handing it
to her as it goes live here on the blog
Hope you like what you see
I have more of them to show you in the near future

SBRB Display card The girls have it (SBRB = SusanBlueRoBot)

I have been trying soo hard to set up a base of this
card on my gypsy so I can use that and just add
things to it from cartridges to make a card.
After a lot of tweeking I think I have done what I
set out to do.
Here the card  laying flat to show it can go in envelope.
And when it is standing it is a three teared card

I used gypsy fonts cartridge for the lettering.
Forever young cartridge for the girls
and For the main base card is made using George cartridge

How I save time and paper (cutting lots at once)

Since the start of this year you might have
noticed this variety of cards made using
cricut cartridges.
I was lucky to get a gypsy for Christmas
and I think it is a great addition to go with my cricut.
One of the things that i do love is not having to
change cartridges while cutting .
So with that in mind I set out on the gypsy to cut
lots of things to 1. Save paper 2. Cutting time.
I had in mind i wanted to make lots of birthday cards

These are the 14 cards I made using the one set up of
cutting (seen on my blog through out the month)

Here is how i cut them to save both time and paper
(a little waste this time but i have gotten better)
