So many 18th Birthday cards
Having a boy that is nearly 18 , this year i have
found myself making lots of 18th birthday cards
And this is the one i have had to make this week
even not being a fan of south park i did howeven
give in and made him the card that he wanted for his mate
I found a drawing on the net, put in into inkscape and
traced it and turned it into a cut file to cut using sure cuts a lot

What is ART?
What is Art?
Who says it is Art?
How do we know it is Art?
Is it art?
And when does it become worth a lot of money?
Who says it is Art?
How do we know it is Art?
Is it art?
And when does it become worth a lot of money?
When you walk in to art galleries and look at all the abstract
art work, knowing how much people pay for most of them even
little ones can be worth millions. These questions must go around
in your head too?
There is a big story behind this piece of artwork, but will not go into
that right now.
Wonder if one day if this one will be worth millions?

SOOO cute aren't they?
A week has gone by since our holiday ended and
I am finding it hard to get back into "real life mode"
So once again I don't have a card or craft to show
so I thought i would show some more of the holiday
snaps of our adventure

To our surprise shortly after we took these photos we were
allowed to go into this enclosure to see them up close
while the workers changed the leaves to fresh ones
and clean up . It was a very special treat
(specially after going to another koala park that
morning and the one Koalas we could see were of in the
distance rolled up tight sleeping )

Have you ever been Lost in something?
Well I sure have . Back in early 1992, there was a picture on
my husbands computer of a Lost in Space robot.
I would look at it and think that would make a great
counted cross stitch pattern. (back then i did not have a
cross stitch converter for the computer (and don't know if they
even existed )). So I got out my graph paper taped it together
to to be 360 squares times 400 squares ( i think it was )
and sat in front of the computer zoomed into the corner of the picture
and started pixel by pixel putting in on to paper (crazy i know )
took a week of solid working on it .
The week was a very long week not to mention the time of stitching
on to black adia (14 count) For the next 8 months I worked on the
x stitching of it and then it was finally finished and went of to the
framers. And here is the finished picture.
