New Addition to my House

I am finally getting around to making things 

just for me . I designed the face and chest plate in Perla

sewed it on the machine then used a normal sewing machine to 

sew the Robot together . 

I did not have a pattern for this robot I just made it up as I 

went along

For my ANDROID

I brought heaps of robot patterns 

on the net  the week i purchased my new 

machine .

And  here is a bag I made for my 

embroidery android tablet.

More for Martyn (magic the gathering icons)

Well last post I showed what I made for Martyn  to give

him when he arrived for his visit Well he spend 6 days here 

and in that 6 days he  had me making him more things

First for his ipad 

 Then it was "Mum can you shrink it and make one 

for my Iphone"

 Hmm the answer was yes as I wanted to work out 

what I did wrong with the digitizing of the first ones

so a little change and shrunk it and it sewed better.

 Then Sunday we went in the city and Neal brought me some

more towels and hand towels to practise the sewing on .

When we got home Martyn said "Dad can I have one of 

those handtowels for mum to sew the icons on "

 A little more tweaking with my digitizing and  wow 

this one turned out the best of all projects .

(learnt something each time )

Martyn goes home today  with all these new 

gifts. I will miss him, so glad he came for a visit 

and see our new home.

And one of the first things I wanted to make for 

him was a towel with his name on it in 

a font from his favorite card game at the moment.

His and MINE

Neal and I moved from Victoria to Tasmania 7 months 

ago and it is only now we are starting the gardening 

and getting it how we would  like it.
 Starting with these two garden 

bed pots we brought just before we moved over.

First one is Neal's (he would not let me decorate).

It is going to be a tomato and herb garden

AND now mine Neal's is out the back but mine is near

our front door so it had to look good .

Filled with succulents that I have been collecting since the 

week I got here at all the weekend markets and shops.

I have to let the dirt settle before adding the pebbles on the top

around the plants.

Used "Make the Cut " to design the robots

and Cut it in vinyl on the ZING

If you notice in this photo near the door I still have
more plants  to plant  I think I need a new pot to decorate and
plant in .

My Robot towel

Before I start   (Yes I am still doing paper craft but

a lot of the things that i have in line to go on my blog 

the people have not received them yet )

I also do heaps and heaps of other crafts too 

and one of the newest addition to my collection is 

the embroidery machine and here is another of the 

towels that I have embroidered on .

I  used a robot that I purchased on the internet and 

just changed the colour to suit the towel that i was putting 

it on 

Robot cross stitch made easy

I have done many crafts over the years and have enjoyed

all of them. One time consumingcraft is counted cross stitch,

but i love what can be done with little crosses.

Well now with my embroidery mackine and digital software

I can cross stitch soo quickly.
