Star SNOWGLOBE Mickey is a star!

OK I have to say at this point of time I am back to
being happy with my ecraft cutting machine.
Here is a Star snow globe Sliceform I designed
in inkskape and imported into SCAL and cut using
Ecraft machine. Only thing I would do in future
cutting of clear plastic is i would tape the Plastic
to the stablelizer paper better.
I am soo happy with how it cut (I had to use minimum tabs
while cutting)
Used mickey and Friends cricut cartridge to cut the mickey

It folds flat for posting

I added the white snow with white paint pen

Back to the BOOKS ?

Back in October I was working on this pattern for
books to be cut on the cutters , only problem was
I did not know i had a problem with my cutter (I
thought the software was the problem) So now
i have the ecraft up and running I am back working
on a set of book patterns .
Here is one i cut yesterday , only thing now is I
need to go back and tweak the pattern and try the
cut again . Once i have successfully cut using the
ecraft, I will then be tweaking it to also be cut using
the cricut (fingers crossed). I will keep you up to date with
how i am going.
cut using scal on the ecraft and designed in inkscape

Besure to check back there will be lots more of these
to come.

Light touch of green (sliceform)

I wanted to test out the Ecraft machine with sure cuts
a lot software
, So i wanted to pick one of my very own patterns
that has lots of pieces and has to be cut correctly
(so as it can be put together right).
I think out of all my SusanBluerobot of sliceforms designs I think
this teddy with a total of 29 pieces is the best one to
pick for this tryout.
After i cut it out in white, i then thought OH it looks
like it cut right so i added a little sponging of green
chalk inkpad around all the edges and coloured the front
pads with the same inkpad.

It folds flat for mailing too

BLUE WHITE Robotz

Yesterday I showed a robot that I made
cut at 3"
Today I made a second one with a little
difference . Using my favorite tools reverse tweezers
these are easily put together , no more trying to
put my fat fingers in to hold together while the glue
dies

Good thing is it hold a long side together all way long
And remember i said a little difference, well here it
is . Between there body parts are magnets

and they just click together

Was surprised at how strong the magnets
are I can not hold head closer than this
or the body jumps up to the head
I used tiny adhesive mirrors on the front

With the magnet i can put the body in any direction

And here is my two little friends

BLUE BLUE Robotz

OK been back from holidays in over a week now
so i have finally made something to show on my blog
(guess i was still in holiday mode)
This Blue Robotz was cut at 3" (yes 3")
I read somewhere on the net that they 3D robots are
really only able to be put together if cut at a bigger size (5"plus)
I guess that is cause it is hard to get fingers in to glue the pieces together
These are reverse tweezers and the best tool to have they
help make all 3D things no matter what size you cut them
way smaller than my fat fingers.
Once again I have made my own pattern for the arms
as i don't like the arms on the cartridge.

FOR your 50th I Baked you a CAKE

My girlfriend turns 50 and we are going to
celebrate with her today. (I know she is getting
a cricut for her birthday) so i thought hmm i need
a cricut head on the cake. I don't have the cartridge that
has a cricut head so i made it up using gypsy.
Once again I made my own arms up for the
Robot as i don't like the ones that are on the
cart. Cut the robot at 6.2". Used the wonderful
number candles from sweet treats cartridge.

Oh and so the robot would not fall forward with the
weight of the cake in his hands I glued coins in his legs.
