KNK FORCE 009 teddy

In my last post KNK 009

I mentioned that I was going to go and 

turn a teddybear sliceform into a sheep

Well I found my Teddy sliceform pattern 

and then sat here trying to change him.

Trouble is that I had not put the Teddy 

together for sooo long that I needed to get 

an idea of how it was put together so I got 

some pink card stock and cut her out .

The card stock cut soo nice 

(have to say at this point of time that I am 

still using my zing mat. WHY?

A: because it is not as sticky )

Now I head back to work on turning the pattern

into a sheep , Big job for me anyway !

OK took me a while to find all my older patterns and 

put them on this computer but I think i found most of them

So as the robot was one of the first i designed way back 

in time I thought i would revisit it and see what it cuts like.

I can see  i need to fix him lots EKKS 

Least I cut him in a beautiful colour  

Now I am off to change a teddy bear sliceform 

into a sheep sliceform .

KNK FORCE 006 OK Meet my new addition to my house!!

He is now complete

7.30pm OK could not wait till tomorrow 

It was calling it could not sit there in pieces 

all night (poor robot)

7.35pm TILL 9.30pm Finishing touches

Ready to meet him ?........

 I fixed the knee caps  scoring and cut tool 

on them (took a lot of thought and planning )

P.S. and the tools on the right side too !!

 The eyes,  well they just had to be the on and off button

5.30pm hmm that did not work to well all i 

kept thinking of is that the robot is nearly finished 

Was thinking about alot of how i was going to 

finish this with all the trims and these 

kept being in my field of view

Also remembered that i had some sliver pin

striping 

6.30pm TV soaps were on and I packed up for the night 

the rest was going to have to wait for another day

OK better now i have eaten food .

Now where was I ?

1pm OH yes that is right that leg is not right !

OH well i pushed on i will fix that problem later

2.30pm Am I crazy? not a project for the 

faint hearted.

3.30pm OK fixed the problem with the legs 

I chopped them in half at the knees 

(knowing that there will be a problem of needed

to be hidden when finished)

4pm head and tops of legs in main body piece 

and both feed and lower legs done and looking 

good !! 

I have really only had one break all day and that 

was lunch time . Time out now to watch some TV.

KNK FORCE 003

The last thing I needed was more cards so what was i going to 

make next (while i wait for my materials for another

project to arrive ) THEN.....

3am yesterday morning I looked at the Force in the same 

room as the robots (not its final place to live) 

and thought WOW you fit in here as you look like a biggg

robot head. Then i tried to go back to sleep BUT no that 

did not work as all i kept thinking about was a 

Fred Force Robot 

(named Fred cause in our house for as long as I 

can remember if anything went wrong "Fred did it"

or if i could not remember names  they became "Fred")

5am start to design this Robot in MTC

9am After taking a break for a nice cold drink,

I started to cut

Could not wait to see what they looked like 

Two half arms done and very happy with them

10am the other half of the arms 

(for those that dont know these arrow are the symbol 

for the force, and I thought they would add a nice 

arm shape)

10.30 am A few tweaks along the way to the pattern 

(hey I did start it at 5am LOL)

Two arms done hope they are not too big for 

the robot

11.15am Time to cut more parts 

(after i went and fixed all parts on the arms that were 

needed)

12 noon  cut folded and parts i could put together  

(hmmmm those legs are WRONG !!! sadly only had

a little of that grey card stock I will have lunch and think 

about that )

KNK FORCE 002

I learnt it pays to read the instruction manual.

After a few shaky starts with using the scoring and knife 

together I finally  got it right (lucky i was using 

scrap card stock)

And also that I needed a special card to post 

today .

 The butterflies on the front, base and back of the card

were designed put in straight in PCS and then I 

turned them in MTC  before sending to 

C3 to score and cut

I do like the feature of being able to do everything 

(score and cut) at once

Woke this morning to find out that my parcel was 

in Tasmania and in van to be delivered today 

YEAHHHHH!!!! Susan doing a happy dance.

9.50am this morning a van pulled up out the front,

it is here.

It is now 12 noon and here it is my first drawing and

second, third and forth .

I have to say wow only 4 drawings 

(and if my robot did not have a wrong line in it )

I am very impressed so far .

Watch me change a Rabbit into an Elephant

Barbara wrote to me and asked "Susan I have downloaded Andy's file and deleted the rabbit. (I want to put a Kitten On The Keys). How do I get rid of the tabs that are left behind. I can see the yellow lines where they fold but can't work his out."

SO here is a video of what i made her and thought i would share it here as well (well i did elephant not kitten (least it was not a robot !))
