Have Wheel Will Travel

We took our spinning wheels to spin in public yesterday at 

the George Town  hub library 

Anyone can take them to there in a car !

 We took along a second wheel incase someone wanted 

to have a sit at on and give it a try  (or even buy a wheel)

(really I had stopped to answer the phone

 Meeting and talking to the public too

180* Mothers Day card 2015

New Hobby

Back at the start of the year when i reviewed my 

2014 adventures I did say that I had more 

new hobbies of mine to show. 

I am still paper crafting , Spinning, crochet, knitting, cross stitch

and many other things too many to mention 

BUT Here is one of my new toys 

AKA

New hobbies 

 (this does not mean i am going to forget the others)

For Christmas I got a 32inch ashford weaving loom.

This is a scarf that i weaved 

It is part Saori/ part Serendipity

I know it has been a while since i have made 

a posting here. I have not given up on it I have 

just been doing lots of other things 

But here is my latest card made for a 1st birthday

Made using all Scrappy dew files

have you seen the wonderful new  images from 

scrappy dew  there is even  ROBOTS  

called

 "Geared up for Love"
I did change the colour and put in the heart using MTC

I am happy  now I am going to have to make another 

from for my wall with these robots in there.

AN ADVENTURE From sheep to knit

This has been so much fun  on the 12th of December  my

fleece was delivered (her name is Lucy Lamb only a few months old)

So that afternoon I started by separating her stamples into boxes

got out my  flick brush and comb to start getting ready

for spinning

nice and fluffy now ready for spinning

Spin and ply and now ready to wash

Washing  oh look at the water  no longer   beige

colour  wool it is white now

to the kitchen  for dying with food colour and vinegar

in the microwave

 rainbow 

 and some blue

 Done and dried

 making them into balls of wool

 There were lots the next blog posting of the finished 

garment with have full total (not quiet finished 

yet  NEARLY Though)

 NOW LETS turn it into something!!

Will post the finished garment   soon as it is finished
