Fishy story

I had the task of a topic of "FUNNY FISH " this is what i came up with

cuttlebug and alota

This is my first card i made using my cuttle bug and teamed it up with alota teabag images

Shortly after i scanned this i fixed up the crooked strip across the bottom the original was sent out looking straight

Shoes Shoes

This card was made for a topic of "shoes" i used alota rubberstamp images and the modern grid technique.

Happy day

Love this twisted ribbon stamp . I also punched frowers for the card too

topic was time

this is a quick card i had to make i had the topic of "time" and i used sizzix to cut arms of clock out , cricut to cut the words party and alota rubberstamps for the rest

Monkey around

Also this is an alota rubberstamps image and i also used cricut to cut the lettering

Play that music

we seem to have heaps of dud cds here after the computer does not write right so to use them up i love putting them on cards this one i used the sizzix to but the music notes and alota bug Also photo copied some very old sheet music for the background paper

You complete me (one)

this one is also done using alota rubberstamps and the lettering cut using the cricut. The image was stamped coloured and then i used jigsaw sizzix die to cut it

Fathers day

the teabag images even look good mounted on the own just on layered coloured card

bees on bubbles or not

These two cards were made with the one teabag image bye alota rubberstamps but on the second one i just cut the bubble of the the image gives a completely diferent look

MOO MOO MOO

Not only do alota rubberstamps have nearly 100 wonderful teabag stamps but they also have stamps to go with the teabeg images to make complete cards . This is a card i made for my nices 18 birthday who loves cow and one day will be a vet

Roses are red

My mum loves roses so i made this card for her birthday this year the teabag image with the roses are by alota rubberstamps And not as hard as they look to put together Alota rubberstamps have nearly 100 teabag images like these and on there web site they have lessons on how to fold and make the medalions (oh by the way i did the lessons for them ) You can find them all HERE click on the word here There are 1000's of sample cards made by lots of her customers too great to get ideas on how to use these cute little stamps

Hats of to you

Once again the stamps used are alota rubberstamps and the lettering is cut using cricut

OH and the stitching is faux stitching rub ons (another love of mine that i have just found)

Busy as BEES

MY favorite stamps of all times would have to be
alota rubberstamps and that is not because the owner Helene is a very very good friend of mine. Many many years ago i put my first order into buy some of these stamps and soon as they arrived i was soooo hooked with these little guys soon after that i would talk to helene about her little bugs on the net that we became best friends .

the lettering was cut out using the cricut

Graduation

Had lots of brick background paper printed out after making my humpty dumpty card that it just called to be used with these little bugs (alota rubberstamps) on this card

Tractors

The cards below were made using the spellbinders wizzard dies the pieces are put together using split pins (brads) so they move. Three different ideas for all

FISH FISH catch of the day

The top one was done using alota rubberstamps and the other one was done using a darcies set of stamps

LOVE simple card

this is an exsample of my cards i made when i first got my cricut (before i got told to make better word headings for my cards LOL)
I love my cricut cuts out things soo nicely and sizes that i want

Which way did they go

i had these pieces left after i made the camping we would go card so i made this one up quickly so i did not waste my work
would have been too crowded on the other card so i got two cards made that day

Camping we will go

Normally cause i cant seem to place my lettering neatly in a line i would stagger them so they look rustic, but this one as i had the mats on the pictures i thought i would give it a try to see if i could get them looking better than i ever have before. I was happy with the result. These two are darcies sets of stamps think i used stamps from three sets to make this card

What's new

This is another of darcies sets this is build a snowman. This one after leaving the letters white and mounting them on the card the white got lost into the background paper so i used a black fine tip pen and went around the cricut cut letters

Something Fishy

Once i got my cricut electronic cutting machine all i seemed to do is cut out names and words like Love, fun, ect... Then my husband said start cutting out headings and stop cutting names so after a search of page heading i had inspiration and i started making better headings for my cards. Now with the cricut it is best to once you have put the sheet of card stock on the sticky mat is to use it all up, so i have big lists of letters i cut most letters out of white and the few i know i will want black out of black. That way the white letters i can then colour the colour that suits my layout that way i am not cutting one letter out of each colour like for this card.
For this card i wanted to make it fun and cheerful so i picked really bright light colours

Hiking

Darcies stamps are great i have always loved them now they have great sets of stamps that are semi unmounted they come in cases of sets they are cushioned and you peal of and put on your clear block stamp and then peal of and back in the case.

MY TRIKE

Once I got my blue tricycle I could not resist on buying the posums bike from spell binders wizzard die. Straight away I could see that as a trike . I was on cloud nine when it arrived and set too to make it into a trike it was not that hard just an extra wheel and a white basket between the wheels .
Getting the real trike was the best thing I could have done. it really has helped me get fitter.

let the music play

i photo copied a music sheet that i brought at an opp shop and mounted it on the left hand side of a black folded card then i used a fiskas music embossing plate and ran it through the wizzard maching and mounted that on the right hand side of the card put a little piece of red fauxed stitched ribon down the center to break the colour up . Used sizzix to cut the music notes on chip board ( my chip board was white so then i coloured them with black markers), added to card , Then i added two charms .
happy with the way this turned out (OH and added six stipes of thin black tape in the top right hand corner as it looked a bit tooo white)

leaping lizzards

i just love this lizzard stamp and could not resist trying the modern grid technique with him.

Easter sunday is today 2007

Being easter sunday today i thougth it was only fair that i should upload a rabbit card. I made the darcies rabbit stamp into a teabag image and cut them out and folded them. but when it came to mounting on to the card i but the center of the medaloin out and it looked better. The background was done using the cuttlebug and then i inked with chalk inkpads

cuttlebug and acetate

i had some extra acetate left over from another card i had made and when it came to knowing what i wanted to do with it i looked at the cuttlebug folder sitting on the table which i had not put away from yesterday and i thought hmm will this work and i gave it a try. I love the idea it worked better than i would have thought it would . could not work out what to put on the front of the card so i went for a bike ride and when i came back it came to me i will get my bead doll and put on it .At first i hung her on the card it looked yuk but then i tied her to it and i am happy with the result

Lets try this again

i brought these stamps after i received a card from a girl who had used them and with my love of frogs i could not resist them i just love the wording of the stamp as well . This is the result of my first play with them. The stamps are third coast rubberstamp company .
