Helping Cleaning up in inkscape for sure cuts to cut single lines

From trial and error i have discovered that you don't take
away the double lines when cleaning up inkscape
if you want the sure cuts a lot to cut a line
you need to just move the double lines together
LETS BEGIN
Select the node tool

take each node and move it across to the other one

So they are top of one another

Then you just make sure they are straight and even again.

If you take the second line away Sure cuts a lot does a little
stupid line cut at the end of the line and it does not work
how you want it too
