PART Seven "This house is not Haunted"

Today I made a tree for the inside of the house
(even though the windows are small
it still needed this inside )
I made the tree using snowflakes
from the "when it is cold out side" cartridge

Cut the flakes going down by 1/8" each time
biggest being 2 5/8"

Then using padded tape i layered the snowflakes

Offsetting them each time

kept layering till they were all on

But then decided that it was to short

So I cut 4 more of the big flake and added them to
the bottom of the tree

Now it was taking shape

Cut a star for the top Using 3 of these folded in
half I glued the to form a 3D star

Added cotton wool for the tinsel

I then cut a box from the box cartridge

Made the box and added it to the bottom of the
tree

Then with my hands i shaped the flakes (branches )
downwards to give the tree shape

Cut a 1 3/4" strip and scored it at 1/4" both
edges and did a few slits where it is going to turn
corners

Added a little glue to attatch it to the sides of the
sleigh

And now it is ready for the top of the roof

PART Three "This house is not Haunted"

Today I thought that i would start to make
decorations for the roof.

I picked the deer from "Paper dolls cartridge" and cut it at
1 5/8" (Using the design studio to connect them
back to back welded at the two points)

Using the Dark Brown chalk inkpad
add some colours to the deer

Then using a black pen add some penwork

On one of them I added a red nose

And here they are ready for a sleigh

PART Two "This house is not Haunted"

Part 1 house HERE
Today on my house i thought i would
start Christmas decorating it so first of all i thought
a girl and boy gingerbread.
And have them coming out of the basement outside doors

So from the cartridges I liked the snowmen
shape from the snowfriends cart
(picked these two (marked with arrows))

So I cut 9 of each in ginger card (making sure
that the card stock does not have white core
(i learnt the hard way)) Cut at 1" (each marked
"welded" on design studio that way they
do not cut all the markings)

After they are cut i then start glueing them
on top of each other
I love using zig two way for this as i can move before
they are dry

After i have glued all 9 together i then
use a white pen and add penwork

Making sure you continue the pen on sides and back

And here is my pair ready for my house

PART One "This house is not Haunted"

My blog has been neglected this past week as
I have been working on lots of things that I can not show
yet.

But I thought i would show you Part 1 of a Christmas
house I am making using the Haunted 3D house from
the "happy hauntings" cartridge.
What I did was is using design studio and hid the
windows and added rectangles for the new windows.
I cut this at 5 3/4" on a small cricut.
My plan it to decorate it as a Christmas theme and
i will show that as I decorate it

and did not find it too hard to put together)
I used the cricut and the Robotz cartridge to cut
