Steampunk photo (Seattle)

Just starting to go though my camera and 

my many photos . 

Here is a steampunk photo I took of Neal 

when we were steam-less in Seattle.

Then we went up the space needle

We did make the most of having our

costumes and no festival to attend.

Home sweet home

We are now back home.

Had a fantastic five weeks away.

We did arrive back in Tasmania with way

Less luggage than we left Seattle with.

Qantas took most  of the passengers

Luggage off the plane in San Francisco.

Leaving us with only our hand luggage.

They did deliver our luggage late last night

36 hours later.

We had it plans on this trip and to go to

The steampunk festival this past, but sadly

Just 48 hours before the event it was cancelled.

So what do we do? We had costumes , accommodation in Seattle!

We wear them and see the sights of Seattle.

Friday we found other steampunkers

Have been showing us the sights, feeding us and taking us shopping. 

Also been getting to use Helene''s embroidery

Week on in sunny Seattle

Having a wonderful time in Seattle.

Weather has been sunny every day.

Been shopping lots, been up to 

Mount Rainier, loving the wild life.

Seattle for fun time

Neal and I are now in Seattle for a fun stay with Helene and Joe.

Last night we went to a light show.

They knew I was coming!

Wonderful afternoon spent with friends

We met up today with Penny from Albuquerque 

and Larry (penny's husband)

Who I met on the Make the Cut forum

And had a wonderful lunch and great chat. It was

A fantastic day and so glad to catch up with them.

Yes I always dreamed of going to Albuquerque

Hot air balloon . I have made it!

Guess I am not in Tasmania !

This is how my morning started

Steampunk shirt

 And a new Steampunk Shirt for Neal

Brought a white shirt and Neal tea stained it then 

I made the yoke fabric using paint , fabric, embossing folders

And stamps . Then attached to the skirt and added embroidery designs

Heading it USA been long time dreaming and planing! Here are my newest crocs shoes made into steampunk theme to wear to the steampunk festival in Seattle later next month.

Lighthouse Regional Arts "Cogwaffle Steampunk artshow"

With the start of this years art show at 

the George Town Tasmania Watch house

Starting today .

Steampunk again but this year there were 

10 of us artist that contributed to the show 

which makes it a bigger and better artshow. 

So happy with how it looks down there .

They normally get the banner for outside done

professionally , but as the guy is away on holidays

I also cut the lettering for that too 

And a small look of the inside

Also posting to let you all know i am still here and

crafting . We had our son move to Tasmania earlier this 

year (which surprised us all . And planing for 

Neal and my big holiday this year cant wait for that .

Stencil making

Had questions about what I used to make the stencils for my

mixed media 

I used Transparency film (which I brought at the office supply store)

Cut it on the Force (by KNK)
