Sitting on riverbank

Alota have just released these wonderful stamps
designed by Birgit and they are soo much fun to play
with. I used the Country road (made it a river though)
and Klara sitting

It is going to be a NEW YEAR (slice form)

I thought I would have fun and make a few
new years cards. This one is a sliceform display card
and folds flat for posting

My first design studio design WAY BACK WHEN

My batteries in my camera are flat so i can not take picture
to make a posting today so I thought I would go down
memory lane. So today I am going back to Christmas day
2007 and i did my first design studio cut on the cricut

I sure did. This little box was made using precut
window cards. Using punches to cut out the MERRY
CHRISTMAS lettering that is on the wall at back of box
and "some assembly required" Christmas tree dies

Added glitter on the window and wrapped a few blocks
of foam to look like presents at the base of the tree

KEEP ME Company .

Well the house is still quiet, all I have is these to keep
me company while i wait for hubby and son to wake
up to see what santa brought me (oh i mean us)

Well those who follow my blog will know that i like
to do sliceforms in different sizes and these were
no different. After finishing the 5" ones and tweaking them
so i knew they were right. I then set out to make them
bigger (well as big as i could get them on my mat 6"x12" (cause
only have the little cricut)) and cut them out they stand about 8 inches
Then YES then i thought oh if i tweaked the pattern i could shrink them
and got them 3 inches tall (sadly could not get them small enough
to make into earrings)

The BOX SET (sllice form)

Christmas is here. But is it only early at the moment and
I am the only one excited enough to be up waiting to
open presents (guess my son now being an "Adult")
So while i make lots of noise in the house to wake
everyone (turning the Christmas music up louder)
I thought i would show you the box that i made
for my slice form Christmas things that i have been showing
over the past week. Even though they can fold flat for gifting
I thought it would be a better gift as a boxed set.

The Front of the box folds down

And the lid comes off

to make them stay in place i made a wedge of card stock in the
box to hold there legs

and cause the box was white i stamped tree branch all
over the inside of the box

Hmmm then i decided that the outside of the box was too
white so I put pin striping tape all around it

Anyone know how to wake up the sleeping family I want
to open presents?

RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Used the gingerbread stamps from Alota
Cut the border of the card using the cricut / scal / inkscape
and added a woven piece of embellishment down the side
of the top mat

and i used the spellbinders dies to make the background
