Making my own

The other week i showed my first attempt of making
socks with the Round knitting loom HERE with out really
knowing how to use the loom. Well today I would like
to show you the sock that i have made after surfing the
net and finding out how to use the loom

Lighting the way for safe trip

Today I am showing a few more plastic canvas
projects. I made these for my husband

Sorry can not share the pattern as they were out of a
pattern book

Double Easel card (easel card taken a little further)

I love all the easel cards that have been made
around all the lists and blogs this past couple of weeks
and I thought i would give them again, only thing was when
it came time for me to think of what i was going to do on
my card i found that the images would not all fit on the main
card so I had to rethink the cards so i thought i would
make a double easel card and put the other two pieces on the
front easel. And i was quiet happy with how it turned out
i can seee it will not be the last one of these i make.
Stamps used are Chair, Little boy (with candy cane cut off),
adding a Robot to the boys hand to cover were the candy can
was, Mrs claus with candy cane cut of as well as covering
the holly on her pocket, Bug from cupcake inches to
cover were the candy cane was, and the Little girl

Off to tell Santa what i want

And my list is soo long there is heaps I want :-)
This card is made as a SBRB display card
(SusanBlueRoBot display card)
and made using the chair, santa, mrs santa,
bag , boy and the little girl

Quilt a Robot

My girlfriend made me a wonderful robot
quilt and i thought i would make this
robot quilt card made using the postage
punches for her. I used the newest
robot stamps the INCHIES and the BIGGER ONES
that match the inchies

It's a Girl thing

This card i combined the new Girl on fence with the
new little girl stamp

This card is using the new cuttlebug embossing folders
and wording as cut using the cuttlebug dies
the stamp is from the OUR HEROES stamps

Stage show

I am always excited when i find new Robot rubber stamps
and these ones on the are from alota rubber stamps
which i thought would look great on the stage
and used the gears background stamps to decorate the
curtains

Shh don't tell Robot that alota have other robot stamps Shhhh

Just the winding of the cotton

Well as you can see i have found Robot again
and i have been having fun with the postage punches again
and this time winding the cotton around them before placing
them on the card

Alota Challenge 21 Clean and Simple

It is that time again time for a challenge over at
Paper craft Planet alota rubber stamps
Ran by Birgit this time
October 16th and will run until October 31th
So what do you need to do to qualify for this challenge?

1) Use at least one Alota Rubberstamp image
2) Make the card Clean and Simple!!
A clean and simple card has limited layers and sometimes just a card base. It leaves a lot of "open space" and uses little or no embellishments. CAS cards should be easy and quick.
3) Upload your card/project into the gallery
at Paper Craft Planet making sure to add to TAG line ALOTA21
(so Michelle can find it and put it into the slide show..
and then pick a winner for the prize!)

For my card i used the alota dear and spellbinders and cuttlebug dies

You can put your socks on now!

I thought i would show you what i made yesterday
with a Round knitting loom.
The instructions that came with this set of looms
was not very helpful so i made these ones up
from memory of using looms when i was
younger, which is why the tops of the socks are not
very good, but after finishing of these socks i have
surfed the internet and found out a better way of making
the socks so when i make my next pair i will show you too

When i was young i loved holy hobby kids and
when i found this pattern it reminded me of
the holy hobby Here is a back view of a Farmer
sewn on plastic canvas

I have removed my inkscape basic lesson 02
to redo it as many people have found mistakes
and since doing the lesson i have found easier way
to do it .

Punch the tree

Soon as i seen this Santa and chair
I knew the card i wanted to make straight away
and i knew robot (who is still missing) would look
great sitting on Santa's knee.
Made the star on top of tree using cuttlebug embossing folder
and the tree was a punch layered to form the tree

Robot still seems to not want me to find him.

I really really thought....................

.....that if i made this card, then Robot would
come and show the card
and talk to me. I just don't know what he
has been up to of late.
On this card i used robot stamp, mobile street stamp
and then put the robot on the cuttlekid die of the bike
and used one of the new cuttlebug embossing folder
along the bottom of the card

Maybe if you all leave Robot a message he might
come chat to you.

Close to midnight

Well really it is well after midnight and next doors
had a party last night and there music is still soo
loud, that i thought that since i can not sleep i would
come and do my blog entry
This card i used the new Halloween stamps

This card is using Ballerina 1 , Ballerina 2 and the stage
And i added punched flowers with crystals in middle
