Big clean up time

It is Spring here shortly but Autumn somewhere

If i had to pick which one of these bugs
i would be in this picture I think i would
be the on throwing the things back out of the cart
(teenage son would be the one laying down, which
leaves my husband to do all the work)

Pumpkin carry

A few weeks back i showed this card and my macrame
that i had done on the card well i finally finished the card
hauling pumpkins bug

That cheeky bee !!

I really love these celebration bugs and
I think the cheeky little bee that is
using his stinger to break the balloon is soo cute

Holding hands

these two bugs were stamped then cut out of the
celebration bugs and put on the card like they are holding hands
combined with one of my hand made braids

Trick or Treat

This card is made using the cuttlebug embossing folder
plus one of the new released stamps from alota

I have a feeling that "ROBOT "
is not happy with me that i am using

stamp of him ..(hope he forgives me)

Lolly Pop Bug

I remember years back when one of my nieces was
at preschool I made her a flower costume for
a concert she was in and this stamp sure does
remind me of it. Stamp is a lolly bug

Should we trick or treat at this house?

The good thing about being on design team for
an American company is i still get to make
Halloween cards (i don't celebrate halloween )
and these two bugs dressed as ghosts sure
do look scared to go to this house to trick or treat

Can't be too bad the witch bug seems to be happy leaving
from the house

Playing with water How much fun is that?

These days with our water restrictions (due to 8 year
drought) i would not know how much fun it is.

Lets Play

I used alcohol inks to make the background paper
and then ran the background though the cuttlebug
to emboss the music and used a marker to the raised
part of the embossing (LESSON HERE)
Used the sizzix music dies to cut the notes and treble clef
and stamped the music bugs from alota

From my garden

No flowers realy in our garden as it is Winter here
still, but i guess it will soon be spring. Even the
weather yesterday reminded me of spring
Even managed to make another card this morning
to post.

More Macrame Only this time on a Card

Sorry I did not post anything yesterday, I seem
to be making lots of things at the moment that
I can not show right now, that and i also have been working on learning
how to do computer animations (no nothing to do
with making lessons for cricut and inkscape sorry)
The other day I showed you all an Owl I had made
using macrame well that got me thinking of ways
to add this art to my card making and here is my first
attempt at building it on a card (cutting two slits
to attach the threads to start)
Sorry the card is not finished but I wanted to show the
macrame first while i think what I am going to put on it.

Two of the loops were not quite right but it was my first attempt

Instead of making cards!!

I have not done "real" macrame since I was
15 years old. But yesterday while surfing I found
this great instructions for this little owl necklace
and just had to give it a go.
And here is my one. I really loved making this
and I plan to macrame a bit more often and not
leave it so long next time.

But... I thought elephants don't forget?

Brown brown and some brown

Did some more backgrounds with
tria and copic inks so i thought
i would start to use them on my cards
and added the Robot stamp
