Wow this really did only start of to be a
12 day adventure and we are
up to 50 (will i continue? )

This card was made using the left over frames when cutting out my
recently shared word cards
Thank you, Thinking of you , Happy birthday, with love,
BonVoyage, Remember and Happy Easter.
When i make the patterns now i put the cutting around the outside
of frames and things so they can be used on other cards.
As i cut the main cards in while i was able to use inkpads to add colour to
match the card i want to make

The wording is cuttlebug die cut twice one white and one
black and layered
The Kangaroo was designed in inkscape and cut using
sure cuts a lot and HERE is THE PATTERN x2

We are in for four or five days of very hot weather in a
row (not looking forward to this at all )

with one of the new girls stamps on it from alota
well here is another card using the left overs from
that pattern. (my patterns have the cut out around
the left overs so they can be made into a card,
which is best done straight away)

The other day I showed a card with a dinosaur
card on it well here is the leftovers of that card.
I two toned and aged some of the photos of cards i made to make
them into photos for the card.

Helping basic lesson 007 Font to narrow but like that font?

Over the past week i have been sharing
cards made with a scrip font or two
and people have been asking me where i got the
scrip font from as all nice scrip fonts around are too
narrow to cut nicely on the scal.
Well YES all the fonts i found that i liked were too narrow too.
SO HERE IS WHAT I DID
LETS BEGIN
Start by opening inkscape and type your word

Click on the T on the top like to bring up dialog box
select the font you want
(in this case i selected Palace script MT semi bold)

Click apply close and your font will be there

Now go PATH object to path

Now EDIT Duplicate

Easiest thing to do is drag and drop a different colour into
the stroke, then remove fill

Now with that new one selected
go PATH dynamic offset

And you will see a little white square appear
on the selected piece
drag that out (it might take a bit of time ) till
you are happy with how far it is out

It will turn into node mode

click on top arrow on the top of list on side select the black
solid letter
go EDIT cut

And all that will be left is a word that will cut better in
sure cuts a lot.

P.S. I have a huge list of lessons people want me to
make. Please understand that lessons take time to make and
I still want to make cards a well . I will get to them.

Firstly when is a Dragon not a dragon?
This dragon was not a dragon stamp It was a dinosaur stamp and i hand drew some wings and cut them out and attached them to it and added a heart upside down to the tail.
