Lattice work number 1 (Font and Pattern)
I have spent over a month trying to work out how i can make lattice cards, cut how i want them too on my cricut using the "sure cuts a lot" program. But always with no luck! Because just not long after i brought my cricut, my girlfriend brought a craft robo and i loved all the things she was doing with he machine specially lattice work and thought i should have brought one of them instead, but i didn't and had to live with that. I have sooo many Lattice templates plastic and metal that most have only been used once as the cutting involved is far too much. Then when the "craft edge" brought out the "sure cuts a lot" program i thought a long time about buying it. Then they brought new features into the program and i took the plunge and brought it. I loved all the things that it could do, but i still could not get it to do the lattice the way i wanted it too. Till I then went and designed the fonts to how i wanted them to look and a set of LATTICE FONTS later. I am happy to say I/you can make what ever cards we want with lattice everywhere :-

Sneak Peak (for over the next 5 days)
Help lesson for BRIDGING THE GAP
I thought I would give another PATTERN (george cartridge) and I thought I would show you how easy it is two use. You can make these soo easy and they look soo cool.
Here we go
Start by cutting the base card and this is what you will have
In contrast you can cut the bridges (this is the shape of mine but you can make new ones with you cricut design studio to any shape ) Have you distance apart evenly all the way and glue your bridges where you want to (i angled mine so as the matched the shape of the gap, this way i did not have to worry if they were perfectly even )
on the reverse side score in half (cant give measurements as it all depends on the gap)
now fold at the scored line
and you have bridged the Gap . I would love to see if you make any how you finish the card . please email me a look or a link to ones that you have made.
Here is my finished card i added red card liner and with the vine from SYI i cut from the same contrasting colour as the bridges and added some stick on bling.
here is the view inside
